Structured Dialogues That Inspire Reflection and Civic Action
Structured intergenerational dialogue reduces ageism by revealing the lived experiences of both youth and elders. Participants gain insight into perspectives shaped over decades, challenging stereotypes and deepening understanding.
Through dialogue, participants develop critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and civic awareness, skills they carry into their schools, communities, and personal lives. CDI programs empower teens and older adults to contribute meaningfully to community conversations about justice, responsibility, and inclusion.
Our model is scalable: libraries, schools, and community organizations can partner with CDI to create inclusive, reflective, and action-oriented programs that strengthen community bonds.
